1930s Mexican Zapotec Navajo Style Rug
Looks Scandinavian, with four columns each of six octagons with stylized floral cruciform centers., set into an orthogonal lattice with nested orange and red lozenge cross points. Complex chevron side borders only. This is an apparently unique Navajo weaving. Fine condition.
