A large scale logical lattice encloses enormous palmettes or floral qua-trefoils in a one-way textile repeat pattern. Ivory, pale green and details in blue tones characterize this late 19th century gallery rug from southeastern Iran. The narrow ivory border employs finely drawn vines and palmettes.
